qualities we look for
FRONT DESK LEAD
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2-4 years of sales, customer service and management experience required, with proven track record of attracting, retaining, motivating, supervising, and developing team members for strong performance
- Self-starter who also has a flexible schedule and strong work ethic to manage a studio that is open 365 days/year, often 12-15 hours/day.
- Strong written and verbal skills and computer proficiency is required (email, Google documents, Word, Excel, etc.), and the ability to quickly learn the necessary software products (i.e. Mind Body Online, Quickbooks)
- Experience working in retail and/or yoga/gym/health industry and experience using fitness software, such as MindBody Online or Mariana Tek
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities given needs of students, business and management.
- Dependable and accountable with strong sense of urgency
- Passion for fitness and helping people reach their goals through pilates.

The Front Desk Lead is responsible for running a successful and profitable high-end pilates studio. The Lead does it all from scheduling personnel, checking-in clients, helping teachers prepare the room for class, working closely alongside the Director of Operations and Co-Founders, tidying the studio and ordering supplies to being the marketing and sales leader of the studio to grow sales and profits. The successful candidate must enjoy interacting with clients, have a sunny disposition, enjoy sales and love what we at the studio offer. Overall, the person must have a strong sense of ownership, loyalty and involvement to make the studio profitable each month and achieve our goals individually and collectively.
